Hi all,
This is a first for me. I read Kimberlie's Blog, but haven't actually tried the process. I think this is a GREAT idea Melanie.. Thanks for doing the work. The site looks great.
The Darwin Nielsen family had a fun Christmas, hope all of you did too.
Kimberlie and Nate leave this Friday (Jan 2nd 2008) to California for a 3 month internship (With my grandson!!!), which may very likely put them back there for good in a year when Nate graduates.
Ryan is officially engaged, so we'll be having a May wedding. Julia will make a very wonderful addition to our family.
We added a Christmas puppy. Whitney and Sarah did to me what I did to Mom and Dad. "The only thing I want for Christmas is a puppy." It worked for me with my soft hearted mom. . . so what could we do.. Arrghh. I've pondered....perhaps that puppy "Oakie" as well as the little bird I got for me in August are direct results of me being too far away from Boston, my grandson :) I might have to move to California :)

Williams Family New Year's Eve
Uncle Jack and I are looking forward to hosting a Williams' Siblings New Year's Eve Party on Wednesday. This is the 40th year that we have been doing this. We always have good food, games and fun and this year will be no exception. Everyone should be here except Barbara and Leon who are in Gilbert with Kellie and Hal for the holidays.
Thanks for doing this blog. I think it is a good idea and will be interested to see who participates.

Great idea!
I love this idea as a way of staying connected as an extended family. The blog looks really great so far...I hope I can figure out how to add things and can't wait to see what others will contribute. Wendy Orme

The other day when I was visiting with Lorraine Bowman via Facebook she mentioned that she thought it would be a great if the Williams Family had some kind of a website that we could try to keep in touch with each other. I thought about it and have come up with this blog. It's open to anyone in the family to post upcoming events or news, pictures, videos or whatever. It's easy to use and a great way for a large family to keep in touch. Please don't be shy. Share your thoughts with the family anytime!
