Wyoming Rodeo anyone?

Does anyone else remember this vacation? I think we went to the rodeo in Wyoming. I can't believe we got this many people all on one trip! Just thought I would post another photo I found in Mom and Dad's photos.

Great Photo

More Old Pics

As long as we're in the old photo sharing mood...I loved seeing these two Williams family photos at Jack and Nancy's last week...I'd never seen them before so I took a photo of the photos. I love seeing happy pictures of my dad when he was a kid! Wendy

Old Photo

Hi Everyone,

It was a lot of fun to see eveyone the other night at Aunt Nancy's. I just got Mom's photos digitized...I am still going through them but I thought you might like to see this one on Lynne, Justin, Mike and Jimmy. It was taken on the lawn at Grandma & Grandpa Williams' house.
Have a great day.

Fun Times with Family!

Thanks so much to those great aunts, uncles and cousins for the super fun pizza party in Sandy, Utah last night! It was wonderful to see relatives we hadn't seen for years, in some cases. We got together mainly because Jimmy and his wife, Melissa, and son and daughter came up from Texas. What a cute family they are! We also celebrated 4 birthdays (maybe someone else can remember who ALL 4 were?) The kids enjoyed playing with each other in the backyard and the adults talked and talked and talked...We need to do this more often! Thanks again!

Emily, Hannah, and the Rosin Eating Zombies.

Emily (Tonya's daughter) and Hannah (my daughter) play in a community youth orchestra together. This is a photo of them at their last concert. It is such a treat for us to have cousins nearby!

Also they will have the unique opportunity of going to junior high and high school together. We are so excited! We never dreamed that they would get to go to school together. The school is a small school and admission is lottery based. Somehow both of our families have some luck. Maybe all that luckiness rubbed off from Barbara. She never losses a drawing.

The name of the song they are playing is Rosin Eating Zombies.

More on Leon

Hi Everyone,

I just talked to Mom and they are releasing Dad from the hospital today. Every day this week it has been a different story. We will release him...we won't release him. It has been as up and down as his health, unfortunately. Some days Mom has been thrilled because he is sitting up talking and eating. Other days, he is down and out and in LOTS of pain. But, the good news is that his white blood count is way up and they believe he will now be capable of fighting off any infections that may come his way.

They have decided that he will take a break from chemo for the next few weeks and then they will re-evaluate when and if to begin. Dad would like to continue if at all possible. The pain is at times excruciating and at best miserable. We don't know why he has to suffer so much but he has a great attitude and hopefully being home will help his spirits.

Leon

Mom and Dad with Burke's Daughter Annika

All the Leon Williams Grandkids
(and two extras)

Justin & his daughter Aqui

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know that Dad is in the hospital again. :(
Dad was released from the hospital last Thursday and Mom loaded him on an airplane on Friday to go to Las Vegas! Fortunately, we were able to spend the weekend together as a family. Every person attended Justin's daughter's baptism in Las Vegas over the weekend. Mom and Dad flew back home on Sunday afternoon. By 1 a.m. on Monday he had a high fever and Mom took him back to the hospital. He was admitted and has been there all week. We are keeping our fingers crossed that he will be released today or tomorrow.
His fever is caused by an abnormally low number of white blood cells called neutrophil and the fever accompanying it is called neutropenia. We believe that today he will begin to receive a series of special shots that will boost his bodies white blood cells and help him recover. The shots should also help his immune system.
If all goes as planned, he will be released today or tomorrow. Thanks for keeping him in your prayers.
